Blueroot Coffee Single Origin Series allows you to try beans from all over the world with a special 'Upick' feature for Roast level. All beans are roasted to order so we wanted to give you flexibility to try a single roast or all three.
Eastern Highlands is an Arabica variety from Papua New Guinea that has notes of: Caramel, brown spice, chocolate and raisin.
Light Roast: are better for expressing the inherent flavors (fruity & flowery) of coffee beans. Very little roasting flavor with brighter taste and aroma.
Medium Roast: great balance between coffee bean flavors, caramelization and aroma from the roasting process. Caramel, chocolate and toasted flavors are common along with a more developed bean flavor.
Dark Roast: coffee bean flavors are paired with strong roasting flavors and aroma. Tends to taste more like bittersweet chocolate with nutty flavors but with less fruity and flowery taste. Acidity level decreases and roasting flavors increase with darker roasts.
